"Bruce Cohen is the kind of poet who makes you happy to read and to think, who makes you want to walk into a bookstore as if into a local bar and shout, “Hi! I’ll have a Bruce Cohen, please. Make that two—one for my friend here!” What a goddamn pleasure. Finally we have a poet with both: brains and balls."
